After months of adjustments, optimisation and testing, the fish finally managed to swim through the Vislift. And then on a massive scale!
Winner Dutch Water Innovation Prize 2019
The Smart Vislift was named the winner of the Water Innovation Award in the 'Digital Transformation' category in 2019.

Project Vislift in the Linge river Vislift
There are multiple installations along this regional waterway, allowing fish to complete their migration, thereby increasing the ecological footprint and proving the effectiveness of the system.
Installation of first Vislift XL
For the first time, a Vislift XL is being installed, which enables fish migration with a larger water level difference.
Vislift number 20 in use!
2021
Automatic fish species recognition
By means of AI, fish are automatically recognized in the Vislift and made visible in the Vislift Control Center.
First Vislift UP in use
In May, the first Vislift UP will be installed at historic Voordijkhoornse.
2022
Barbel spotted again after 20 years!
After opening up the Linge by the Vislifts, the Barbel is back on the Linge after 20 years. The Water Board Rivierenland's WFD score improved on a European scale.
Glass eel research
A glass eel research paper on glass eel migration will be published in December, where Vislift also manages to achieve optimal settings and conditions for glass eel migration.
Product line is being expanded
