The Vislift Compact enables migration where a barrier between the low water side and the high water side blocks the swimming route. Due to the optimal flow velocity within the fish passage, it becomes easy for the fish to swim into the Vislift.

The Vislift is compact, structurally strong and almost universally applicable due to its patented round shape. Soil investigation and structural calculations are less relevant. This makes the installation of the Vislift many times more efficient and faster than traditional solutions. The Vislift can be installed and reinstalled at any location within 48 hours.
Operation Vislift Compact
The fish reach a large round resting chamber where they can acclimatize. From this space, the fish swim upward through round basins in a helical shape to the higher water. Due to the unique shape, energy dissipation and turbulence are kept outside the swimming lines, making the fish believe they are in a natural environment.
The attraction flow rate is adjustable and can be tailored to fluctuating water levels. In extremely dry periods, the fish passage can be temporarily closed.
